Comparison of Students' Academic Performance in Mathematics Course with Synchronous and Asynchronous Online Learning Environments during COVID-19 Crisis.

There are two categories in which educator can deliver open distance learning (ODL) via an internet connection, namely Synchronous Online Learning (OL-sync) and Asynchronous (OL-async). At Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Pulau Pinang (UiTMCPP), lecturers could conduct ODL OL-sync or OL-async due to MCO was enforced on March 18, 2020. Therefore, this study conducted compare the influence of different styles with UiTMCPP students' academic achievement during COVID-19 crisis. This will present data analysis research quantitatively. Independent sample t-test is going employ, result indicates a significant difference between mean online approaches value 0.004. we conclude that OL-synch approach gives better performance. It consistent findings Duncan (2012), recommend synchronous give performance for students.
